CorDx Flu A/B & COVID-19 Rapid Test

The CorDx Tyfast Flu A/B & COVID-19 Rapid Test is a lateral flow immunochromatographic assay designed for the in vitro rapid, simultaneous qualitative detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid antigen and influenza A and influenza B nucleoprotein antigens directly from anterior nasal swab specimens of patients who, when tested at least twice over three days with at least 48 hours between tests, have respiratory infection consistent with COVID-19.

The clinical signs and symptoms of respiratory virus infection caused by SARSCoV-2 and influenza may be identical. Testing is restricted to laboratories certified by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA), 42 U.S.C. § 263a, that may perform moderate, high, or waived complexity tests.
