Australia’s international education sector is facing fresh uncertainty as Australia student visa rejection rates have climbed to record levels, particularly for applicants from South Asia. New data from the Department of Home Affairs shows that only 67.6 percent of offshore higher education visa applications were approved in February, the lowest monthly approval rate in more than two decades.
